H1N1

Breaking news:  One case of Confirmed Swine flu in Stearns County, CDC has issued a "Pandemic imminent" alert, three schools closed.  US Gov has declared a "Public Health Emergency".  So, I'm busy setting up programming to have hotlines ready and getting employee training videos loaded onto our internal web site.  Yippee!  And I was hoping to get out on time today, if not early.  Ah well, such is the life I lead.

Facebook

I hate to admit it, but I have finally broken down and created a Facebook account, since that is the only way I have to contact some family and friends.  I probably will not do too much with the account other than use it to contact people; I have enough to do maintaining this website.

Titanic

News update from the Science Museum of Minnesota; we are going, just need to figure out when.  Special admission prices apply, even for members such as ourselves, but ticket prices are lower in June then go up to a higher price July thru January.

June 12, 2009 - January 3, 2010

newsboyIndividual tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. This is the 97th anniversary of the fateful day that the luxury ocean liner struck the iceberg.

Ninety-seven years ago, on an otherwise calm April morning in 1912, the world's largest ship, the White Star Line's RMS Titanic, sank during her maiden voyage after a colliding with an iceberg in the North Atlantic.

On board were 2,228 passengers, including titans of commerce and industry, artists, senior members of governments, immigrant families dreaming of a new life and more than 890 members of her crew. More than 1,500 people died. No one believed it could happen.

Today, this epic story is revived through Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. Viewed by more than 20 million people worldwide, the exhibition is among the highest attended in history.

New in St. Paul! When Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition opens at the Science Museum of Minnesota, it will feature the worldwide debut of artifacts from RMS Carpathia, the ship that answered Titanic's distress call. These newly-recovered items paint a picture of the historic rescue that captured the imaginations of people around the world.

Been a bit frustrating here, beautiful weather, I've got some photos I want to take and post, but my camera is in Europe with Matt. Haven't heard anything from him either, which is probably a good thing since I won't like the cell phone bill if he calls from there and I don't want to think about what texting from there costs.

Nothing here, move on please.

I've had so much going on that I haven't had time to sort my thoughts out and decide what can be published, what should be published, and what thoughts should be suppressed and never see the light of day again. You know I NEVER let EVERYONE know EVERYTHING that is going on in this little brain of mine.  Actually, I seldom let anybody know anything that is going on, which is the bad part about knowing me.
